About Raw Milk Montana...

Raw milk is finally legal in Montana via SB199 (2021 session, by Senator Greg Hertz).  This page is a place for finding milk, providing milk, resources for producers such as what the new law says, test kits, education and support.

After working on legalizing raw milk in Montana since 2012, we’ve grown in size on our Facebook page to where we inadvertently became the clearing house for connecting people up with milk sources.  Facebook presents challenges to getting information out as they limit “health related” content.  Many people are no longer on Facebook or don’t know how to navigate it well.  This page was created to give more access to resources for both consumers and producers.  By using the page, you agree that RMM takes no responsibility for any products that you purchase and/or consume as a result of using this free service.

Please consider donating.  Even just $10 or $20 helps.  We at RMM have volunteered thousands of unpaid hours since 2012 working on legislation, going to the state legislature twice a session for four sessions, paying for educational materials, running two Facebook pages and an email account for action alerts and answering questions, connecting people with milk sources, maintaining a producer spreadsheet encompassing the entire state, countless hours at farmers markets and grocery stores handing out information, and creating and paying for a web page monthly.  We thought the load would lighten, but instead it has grown.  Donations are not tax deductible.
